Sewing Bibs for Babies

Hi everyone! I’ve always had this idea of sewing baby bibs with necktie. But one, I don’t have a baby and two, I didn’t have the tine. Well now I’d like to end that by just sewing things that I wanted and make time for it.

I don’t think i took a lot of pictures for this. But I’ll link my YouTube video after. My username is sewbibicheparis. In Filipino, it’s sewbibichepinas.

So first you have to sew the ribbon, necktie and the pockets. I wanted mine to be a bit 3D…but you can sew them flat if you want to.

Once they’re ready, just sew everything on the front part of the bib.

Remember to keep a distance of 1 to 1.5 cm all over the bib as that’s where we sew the back part.

Then you attach the string and pin them towards the center so you don’t accidentally sew them on the sides.

Sew the backing on top, but leave a space so you can turn everything right side out.

Turn it right side out. Iron.

Close the bottom part by stitching it. You can topstitch the entire bib but in my case, I was in a hurry so I just did the bottom part. And voila here are the bibs.

My friend’s baby loves it! He is just 2 months here. And it’s not too big righter but I think he can still use it till he’s about 2.
