I have to give credit to my friend and former colleague in Shanghai, named Philippa, who taught me this word: Haberdashery. It’s a shop that sells stuff for sewing or making clothes. Everything you need is in this shop.
I first came across FIL2000, when I was still in ESMOD. It was just several blocks away and conveniently so. I would not really want to go all the way to Marche Saint Pierre just for some extra pins or little stuffs.
Years later, I moved in to my flat and I was walking around my neighborhood and I came across FIL2000, and I’m like wow, it means my old school is just nearby! All most 10 years in between and it’s still on the same place.
