Even though you could find Sephora everywhere in Paris, I still like going to other places for makeup. One of them is Monoprix. One, they have all the “drugstore” brands as they call it elsewhere and sometimes they have pretty nice deals. I always shop when I see the discounts on all the foundation of this collection. And they almost always have a promotion, every other 2 weeks. I know, I have one near my school. 🙂
I haven’t really heard of Makeup Revolution before. I did not see it in Shanghai nor in Manila. But I hear Emily mention some of their products in her YouTube channel. So I gave it a shot. I came across this one by SophX. I keep saying who’s Soph till I got home. But I love the packaging and I love the colors. I use NC35 in Mac and yet these colors show up on me. Plus I love the fact that she has a combination of matt and shimmery eyeshadows.
I have not used her highlight palette as much. Although, I must say, I can’t really distinguish on my skin if I’m using the pinkish one or the golden highlight. They look quite the same for me. Maybe I need to layer it with a base or something.
