Sewbibicheparis

Bibiche is a cute word in French that we call people we are fond of. Like how we would call our girlfriends or love ones. Sewbibiche is a name I gave for my sewing tutorials in social media. Now, it has evolved to my kidswear’s brandname. I wish my clothes would also be as just as special for the kids who wear them and for their family as well. I believe that the clothes should make the kids feel cool and unique. I believe that it has some influence from both France and Philippines as these are my two homes.

As for my fashion journey. My first job after coming home from Paris was as a kidswear designer for Mossimo Kids. I designed both girls’ and boys’ kidswear. We sell t-shirt and jeans using the licensed trademark of Mossimo USA. I then moved to knitwear for kids with our clients being Marks & Spencer, Adams and John Lewis. I also worked as a freelance designer for other local brands in Manila. When I came back in Paris in 2017, I had to do an internship for my Master’s degree program. I was lucky enough to have worked for Parisian kidswear brand, Marsou Paris. This internship has inspired me to pursue my dream of having my own brand and so I started Sewbibiche Paris clothes.
