Fall in Paris 2022

Hello! Wow, from May to September…I really have not updated much this blog. Even my social media links have changed lol. If you want to see the updated links, scroll down at the end of the post.

I usually post sewing/fashion related stuff in this blog but I wanna add some other stuff too. Sometimes, I like reading my old posts and when I visited this blog…I was like, that’s it? That’s all that happened in 2018?

Ok so going back to today’s post. It’s getting cooler now in Paris. That means, we can start wearing coats. I think it’s still early for a wool one…as it can get hot during the day. But I am quite comfortable with mine. It’s one of those coats that look like a bath robe as you tie them in the waist.

Growing up in the Philippines, I didn’t really care to invest for knitwear. I mean, sure a few cardigan here and there but nothing much. Each winter, I worry like oh dear, do I have a coat? Do I have enough sweaters. This year, I’m quite relaxed, as I almost accumulated everything I needed. Also, if you’re new to Paris, thinking oh dear everything is so expensive. Well, there’s Vinted (app where you buy second hand stuff). At least for coats, this site is quite useful. For the basics, I go to H&M or Zara. There are also nice French brands like PIMKIE, Jennifer or Camaieu…if you’re on a budget.

What has kept me busy all these months is finding a full-time job and working on several part-time jobs. You’re lucky if you come to Paris all set, in my case I needed to work. I was lucky enough to go on holiday at the south of France with my bf…but after that, everything else is work work and work.

I am quite grateful though, that I no longer have to spend my days looking for a job. I think since I landed in Paris, I was sending my resume to everyone almost everyday. I’m glad now, I don’t have to for the time being.

I also have some online classes now and most of them are based in the US. How awesome it is to reach all these people. I even have a 7 years-old student who knew at this age that she wants to be a fashion designer. How cute!!! By the way, if you’re interested with online lessons for Fashion Design, pattern drafing, just go to my homepage for this website.

Now, I want to focus on my clothing business. I dabbled on it from time to time…but now, I really want to focus on making stocks. I think now, anytime I get, it will be for this.

Ok, that’s just my mini update…nothing much going on yet…but I post regularly below:
