Hi guys! It’s almost the end of May…it’s Ascension day in France and I got two days off. Woo hoo!
Oh my gosh, I thought it’s a good idea to cut my patterns in my apartment. I was wrong as my apartment is teeny tiny and just rolls of paper filled it up quickly. I think i’ll do one design at a time. I have also done some retoucherie, or sewing repairs. That also kept me busy. I didn’t feel like taking pictures of my clients, as I want to respect their privacy.
I have also been busy with work…it’s tiring but I’m happy nevertheless. When I get home, I barely have time to think about anything, I just work, work and work. I hope the next time I blog, I have something fun to talk about, non?
Ok, last but not the least…here’s my gift for my bf’s mom. I hope she doesn’t read this blog or i’ll ruin the surprise.
These fabrics are from the south of France. I searched online, they use it mostly for house decorations. Was thinking to make a dress or a skirt…but now that i’ve sewn it, i feel it is a bit stiff…so maybe a tailored design is best.
